Re: I just got laid..

Sooooo I took Scott987654321's recommendation and reformatted my pc using Ubuntu. Still not completely sure if I like it. My main PC got a virus - thanks Hollywood - and I have to reformat that one but wanted to try it on my spare pc first. I read online that you can setup a dual boot system using Win7 and Ubuntu and that they work very well together. Just curious Scoot - all my Windows based programs - I'm assuming that I cant use them running Ubuntu or can I? Just wondering about that really coz I have a bunch of programs that I'd like to be able to use but not sure if I can. I'ma try installing one of my DVD Copier programs to see if that works. Ubuntu recognized my external hard drives which my MAC wouldnt so thats cool. Just tryna figure some **** out before my final decision this week for my main pc.

Re: I just got laid..

So I just tried installing my 1clickDVD Copy program. Its an .exe file but it pretty much just sat there doing nothing. I clicked on the CD/DVD drive and it opened the folder with the .exe file which I double clicked on and it opened up the Archive Manager which pulled up an error message saying something about it not being a zipped or compressed file. Forgot the exact message but it was something like that. Any idea on this Scoot - if I could use my windows based programs? If so, how do I go about installing them? If not, I'm guessing I'd have to purchase Linux based programs to use with Ubuntu Appreciate any help

Re: I just got laid..

Well I see Ubuntu has its own CD/DVD copy/burn program which is pretty cool. It looks like it has standard programs for everything you'd need but I'm still curious if there's a way to get my other programs to work with it, if need be

Re: I just got laid..

Eh last post for the night. Ubuntu is moving extremely slow. I dont have a lot of RAM in this pc but when I had WinXP installed it moved a lot quicker. While I thought - cool - Ubuntu has its own CD/DVD copy/burn program installed, it's not working for me. It recognized the source DVD but it wont recognize the blank DVD that I wanna copy to. It shows "select a disc to write to" and then is saying "please insert a recordable CD or DVD if you don't want to write to an image file". I cant figure that **** out Not sold on this **** just yet but I guess a lot is coz this **** is foreign to me. Any ideas on this scoot or feedback in general? And you have any idea about my question above Again, appreciate any help

@onewheelneal - ubuntu is the ****, it has a lot of programs already installed, you just have to get used with it and you will never get back to windows or that shitty mac ... take a look at www.winehq.org - you can run windows binaries with this ****
try opening a terminal and type "sudo brasero" - it will open the cd recording program as root - your probably not in the correct group of recording ****

time to go to the club and find a bitch go get laid, two or three - cant make up my mind

10 years ago, im in my friends garage cutting steel with a 4.5" wheel, our other friend comes over and busts out the brand new dewalt 18 volt sawzall which cut mild steel even faster. I bought one the next day, and will be buying a third battery for it this year.

I actually downloaded Brasero and still had problems for whatever reason. It just wont recognize the 2nd dvd player/burner drive And it runs kinda slow compared to Win XP Is that normal

I got the craftsman one that works with my 19.2V battery. Thing is beefer than it looks on Sears website. I also got an assortment of blades for wood, metal, wood with nails, and multipurpose.

I used the craftsman 19.2 to cut up a trailer that I got for free. It worked like a champ with "The Torch" blades. 1/4" steel cuts like wood. I went through like 5 batteries in one day cutting that thing up. Only one blade though. Definitely check out the torch blades. They are the ****.
