I just got laid..
Re: I just got laid..
Found this about sizing extension cords.
12 Gauge Cords If your tool load is between 10 and 15 amps and the length of the cord is 50 to 100 feet, you need a 12 gauge cord to safely power any tool.

Re: I just got laid..
I kinda want to get into building furniture. Also, I can use it for guitars. The one I'm getting is a small one that has a regular router clamped to the bottom. I want a router anyway and the combo is only $30 more. As for the bench I'm building, it will be decked with 2x6s. That should be fine for a vise. I plan to get a welder at some point but I won't be able to run it out there. The whole shed is run of a 12 ga 100' long extension cord plugged into an outside outlet on the side of my house.
2x6s with plywood on top is perfect
almost as perfect as 2x6s with metal plating on top. Re: I just got laid..
I probably won't put anything on top of the 2x6s. My father's is 2x6s with half inch heavy rubber on top. That's pretty nice.

This is temporary. I will probably be in a different house by the time he's old enough to use a drill.
