I can tan, but it takes a lot of time to slowly tan and not burn. And it fades quickly. I was pretty tan in highschool the summer I lifeguarded.

funny u say that, after i got off active duty army i dropped a packet to rebranch over to the navy to go seals. started my 6 month train up and
2 1/2 months into and got pneumonia from pushing myself so hard. seals dream over, now i'm in a punk *** reserve unit hatin life

not true in the army. i chose my job, volunteered for jump school and requested my duty station. in the marines i believe you give them a wish list of jobs and duty stations and they put u where they want to with no guarentee of getting even close to what you wanted.

My little cousins in the air force. I forgot what exactly it was they promised him, but they gave him "packing parachutes" all day long.

 

that happens a lot...but I got what I wanted.....I aced the test they said I could do anything I wanted and being the angry lil boy I was I told them I wanted to run thru the woods and shoot ****....and I wanted the biggest gun.....I was a M60 gunner in the Infantry.

Since then I've told everyone that has ever wanted to join to join an MOS that teaches you a skill.....being an excellent shot, able to break down the pig underwater and blindfolded, and excelling at escape and evade games has done nothing to improve my resume......the only thing I gained was a blurb about leadership.
