stuff to get at lowes today:

catv splitters, a 2 way and a 3 way
welding helmet - i was gonna go the ebay route on that but my 929 front end didnt make me as much money as i needed so i cant really afford to
price out gas kits if they have them

make sure you do the clean air mod
I hear the 636's are practically unrideable without a damper. Detroitstyle says even small potholes make the bike pretty unsettled and he gets a lot of handle bar motion when he sets down a fast wheelie.

Gas kits?

Harbor freight sells auto darkening welding masks. I wouldn't trust them if I was a pro welder, but I think as a weekend warrior they should be fine.

right now the only mod ive done is a 100% custom rear brake system. still need:

cage
subcage
bar
clean air mod
clipons

There is a store about 1.5 miles from my house. It is the **** for "throw away" tools and storage hooks. I always feel bad buying **** from there though, because it is all chinese ****.

some one gave me a harbor freight auto darkening helmet and it is junk , it wacks out and doesnt work properly , either get an old school helmet or if you want an auto dark get a quality one
