That's what a lot of them are used for but some are built quite well and are very useful. A full size SUV is a great tow vehicle for recreational stuff and more useful than a truck to the average person as an everyday vehicle.

ive been trying to figure out why the new whip has a higher tow rating than i expected. turns out its got a real frame, front to back. if i could turn up the suspension and steering, i could get used to it. maybe trailblazer ss springs are stiffer? i'll google next time im bored

My Avalanche was the only vehicle I didn't put the seat all the way back and I have long legs. Anything but a full size truck/suv feels cramped for me in the driver's seat. Jeeps are really bad because the seats are really short front to back. Half my thigh is off the seat. I wish the Mazda seat went back another 2 inches or so. That vehicle is strange. Even with the front seat all the way back, I have plenty of leg room in the second row. The third row is a joke for anyone over the age of 10.

if this thing can tow my big trailer at 60 mph it opens up my options when getting a pickup truck.

Probably stiffer but lower. Do those have coils or leaf springs in the back? What about the front? I hope it doesn't have torsion bars. I hate those things. Who's stupid idea was that?

Should be no problem. My buddy's wife has a pontiac torrent and it'll tow his enclosed snowmobile trailer at 75 no problem.

They sag horribly. If you crank them at all, they get super stiff. Lift kits for them are ridiculously expensive because they have to be relocated. That leaves them hanging really low. Not only are they susceptible to damage but they look like ****.

Yeah, it's similar in power but AWD with a unibody. Plus they get low to mid 20s mpg on the highway.

ok so you just dislike specific applications of them, not the concept in general.

They're only used in full size trucks and they shouldn't be. That's why everyone went back to coils.

I bought a new battery for my wife's bike. The no name battery at walmart was $60. The Yuasa from the dealer was only $70. Why would anybody buy the walmart battery?

remember when you wanted to turn on the defroster all you had to do was slide 2 ***** all the way to the right? some of these digitally controlled cars take a manual and like 15 steps to do that.

i know a guy who'll blow $10 in gas by driving all over the city for a cheaper deal just to save $5
