I've never been a reader. I actually read quite slow. Once I start reading his books, I can't put them down. I read Angels and Demons in 2 days, The Da Vinci code in 3. I may have taken a week with the other 2. Angels and Demons is an amazing book. So much better than the movie. Oh, I have read one other book. Sonny Barger wrote a book about his time in the Hell's Angels. That was pretty interesting.

 

I have nothing against Sci-Fi. I just could never get into any of the shows. I like the idea, the execution has always seemed poor to me. I find Star Trek completely unwatchable.

 

i only enjoy reading a book if i am very interested in the subject matter , i dont read to relax like most people do

I'm exactly the same. I find catholic religion fascinating so I really liked 2 of the books. Once I read those, I knew I would like the rest of his stuff. I love a good conspiracy theory. I don't believe them but I love to read about them.

 

Oh, I read one other book about an Israeli Secret Service guy working with a top secret US gov agency to take down some rich guy. I wish I could remember more about it because I'd like to check out the Author's other books. I love reading about **** "I'm not supposed to know." Not that any of it is real but it's exciting.

Exactly. I want to like it but I haven't seen anything that can keep my interest. For me, it's gotta be believable and not in the future. I prefer stuff about the past or present.

ya in order to enjoy sci fi you have to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy your imagination

I like books about the service....I read all of W.E.B. Griffin's Brotherhood of War series.......But my favorite book is Tom Clancy's Without Remorse.....Snake is a sick and twisted man after my own heart!!
