so i had a tiny little drop on the 636 last night. it slowly fell over and landed on the race rail, then rolled up onto the clipon. My front brake lever snapped, it was one of those junk CF looking ones. Im looking at the break right now and the aluminum is so crystalized im surprised they dont break when people squeeze them. How come nobody sells forged levers for cheap? theyd be so easy to make

 

also, my clutch cable got trapped under the race rail when it fell, the cable housing is destroyed, making the bike useless for wheelies tonight unless i find a new cable

 

becky took a bunch of pics of my bike yesterday with her new fancy camera, and the smallest one is like 4 megs. this emails gonna take forever to suck through the firewall at work.

 

Why doesn't she resize them? You don't need 10 MP pictures.

when she takes pics for herself, they get auto resized when she uploads them to where ever. She took these for me and just emailed them to me. I didnt expect them to be so big or i would have had her resize them. turns out theyre all almost the same pic anyway, so i just need to resize one or 2

so becky still wants to get an older Liberty, which im not necessarily for or against. And I just realized they made a diesel for a couple years. Im gonna look into the numbers on that.

 

it was 5C this morning when i left the house. That probably means it was 0C in maine

 

The CRD would be good because the V6 sucks on fuel. Especially if you get the Renegade package.

i havent actually scraped my windows in 4 or 5 years ago when we had that one really cold winter

 

It's still going to be a touch screen phone and touch screens suck.

 

I have to do it every morning starting mid to end of December.

 

im seeing 165 hp and 295 lbs. 30 less hp than my jeep and a hundred more foot pounds. that could easily handle a 2 bike trailer or a pop up camper. they say it has the same 5000 lb tow rating as the non diesel because it doesnt weigh enough to safely stop with much more than 5k.

 

Finding one will be the hard part.

 

I park facing east when im worried about ice. usually by the time i get in my jeep at 8:30 its not dethawed. double negative cancels out lol

and finding one in my budget will probably be impossible since it appears they were only imported in 05 and 06
