you clutch it up while your sorta squatting, and as its coming up you basically stand up straight. It balances higher than when you squat, forks pretty much horizontal.
By pointing your toes out, you steer alot better, and it keeps it from wobbling

tonight i am working on jumping to SS

 

i really should be working on my chemical advanced course on line each day. but you guys got me addicted.

 

I have trouble with that on my current tail. no plastic or back seat, i stand on that bar. I can jump straight to flamingo easier

 

Foot placement? Borne swears by the duck footed approach with your toes on the "hips" of the tail section. I found having my toes on the area between the front and rear seat with my heels hanging off more comfortable and stable.

Point your toes out liek hes doin. Spend some time getting used to it that way. It makes it alot more controlable

I learned SS's on my F3 back in the day. With the bananna seat you cant really point ur toes out, but i really miss the engine brake of the carbs
