I used to have a tri-fold ramp when I had my Ranger. I'd just ride up that ramp. It wasn't long enough for my F150 so I got these individual ramps. I'm too chicken to attempt riding up these narrow ones.
I feel the same way.....I've always considered it but it's sketchy at best....
I have to have two ramps. I can't load by myself if I have to step up. Atleast I don't think I could, I've never tried. My ramps are non folding 7'6" arched aluminum. They work pretty good but are a little narrow.
Mine was an 8 foot 2x12 with a custom bracket at the end. I would always just ride it up the ramp, carrying a little speed.
