The tire shop I worked at in HS did the same thing. For parts and labor it costs them like $3 of labor plus a $0.50 patch. They know people are creatures of habit, so if you give them a free flat repair they will come in next time they need a set of 4 tires that are $500 a set.

i found a dakota with the configuration i want, at the price i want. Unfortunately its white, which doesnt work for a guy who will never wash it.

I would pay $30 just to not have to break the bead on a 16" truck tire by hand. It was $24 and they fixed the hole and rotated the tires quicker than it would take me to get 2 tires rotated.
