not as long as you dont have the bleeder open so loose air can get in around the threads but the suction from that end isnt very strong so if you just crack the bleeder the fluid in the hose will seal it fine

been doing it this way for years on bikes and cars

I hate when you feel like you got a booger in your nose or something and you keep trying to get it then you look in the mirror and realize it's a nose hair hanging a complete inch out of your nostril and you've been walking around all day with it

 

what about the front right? how do you see that?

 

so I went to lowes (3 minutes away) and got 6 feet of 3/16 clear tube, and rigged it up on a push broom with duct tape. then my friend showed up so that wasnt all that necessary. Anyway, I got the fronts bled great, but not enough pressure in the back still. new fluid comes out both sides, and no air bubbles, but not enough pressure to push the pistons out

sometimes one will grow with freakish speed, like half an inch overnight

 

My theory is that some of them get stuck growing up rather than down so you can't see them so when they're eventually pushed down theyre like 4 inches long I oddly enjoy plucking the long ones out though

 

i dont it makes my nostril bleed. then later that day when i pick my nose it makes it bleed again

 

I sure wish mine would grow a half inch over night for like 4 nights.......

did you adjust the rear brakes ?

there is an adjuster at the bottom in between the two pads that you turn from either an access hole in the drum or an access hole in the backing plate and it spreads the pads out so they are just rubbing on the drum then the wheel cylinder only has to move a little bit to apply the rear brakes , if the brakes arent adjusted the wheel cylinder has too far to travel

 

I rode my brothers 83 yamaha vision to work today and when I go and shift the Rpm's stay for a sec then drop that's the carbs right? I put colder plugs in it yesterday could that be the culprite

 

I took the drum off so i could watch the pistons. no movement at all and i got fluid, clean new fluid and no bubbles coming out the bleeder. I can move the pistons by hand tho, so theyre not frozen. I dont think theyre the issue but im not ruling it out yet.

My front brakes feel awesome now. Well, awesome for manual brakes i guess.

 

My proportioning valve has a bleeder on it for the fronts only. After bleeding from there for a couple seconds is when the fronts started working. There is no bleeder there for the rears, and I think airs trapped right there.today im gonna try bleeding from the compression fitting there.

 

we're growing these monster sunflowers int eh front yard and have been having a problem with aphids eating the leaves. Yesterday I got some spray for that and put it on a couple test subjects to make sure it doesnt kill them. Today the test subjects look ok, and dont have any bugs on them at all. On the plants i didnt spray, they have t on of beetles, and a couple wasps on them right now. except one. this one has a spider that made a nice fat web and currently has about 4 bugs queued up in it to eat. in another day i'll spray the rest of the plants assuming the test group does ok. except the one with the spider, hes got that plant under control pretty well.
