Nags gets Owned
Re: Nags gets Owned
So anywho, i was talking to gil last night and i'm going 2 down in the front on my F4i. I was practicing sd's 2 nights ago, better but still not getting it to BP... and he jumped on it when i got tired. He was rocking circles on it after 10 minutes of practice, but he too had issues getting it up. But we decided that F4i's need a lot more gearing and he was surprised how much more throttle he needed to give to get it up. And then...there was the undertail bar...LOL...go figure...i think he's going to be rocking the F4i more than i thought. This contention was further supported when he asked if i was comfortable with clipons or whether i thought turning them out would be better...LOL...I like clipons and I'm small enough to find them comfortable.
2 down and 8 up...will i still be able to ride the streets?

Re: Nags gets Owned
Actually I found that I was more comfortable clutching it up from a 5 mph which is practically dead stop. I was jamming on the throttle harder and harder until people started telling me it was way too aggressive of a move. So I tried to do it from 20-30 mph and I honestly couldn't do it. Do you let off the throttle and then clutch it up or remain on the rolling on the throttle and then just pop the clutch quick?

Re: Nags gets Owned
3-4 years from now you might. I'm just saying between the work of pulling off the hitch and welding over the little 2"x2" hole or just taking the hitch ball off and puttting something over the hole in the off chance I might need it, I think the answer is pretty clear.

Everything about it.
