Bought a mat for the 650sx. Zuki, I'm looking to pick up some black diamond cut to do the bump rails, is this a decent deal? I know the regular blemish stuff is the grey color.

You use weldwood contact cement to install it. You can buy it at wal mart or home depot. Make sure to get the red label stuff. The green label is low on fumes but does not hold up to water. I think I used the gel formula but it doesn't matter. The gel just doesn't run everywhere.

Look on x-h2o for threads on installing turf.
You want at least two coats of cement on the turf and the ski. Make sure it completely dries between coats and before you attach it. I let mine dry about 3 hours after painting it on with a brush. Once those two pieces touch each other, they are not coming apart, so get it right the first time. Use a rubber mallet to pound it all down real good. Cut the turf at the bottom of the rail at a 45 so water doesn't have a surface to push against when you land hard.

I bought a can of the spray can of 3m adhesive from Wally world near me a few months ago. I checked online and it's not listed though.
Edit: I posted this and then saw Zuki's response. Just trying to help, I'm sure he knows better on what product to use.

It was too nice out to sit in a bar last night so I got drunk and worked on cleaning up my garage. Got my gas leaf blower/yard vac fired up too. I need to load up the sandbags next to my garage and dump them in the dumpster at work or something. My truck definately doesn't need extra weight to travel through the snow.
