In MI carrying a switchblade or brass knuckles is in the same class as a sawed off shotgun/rifle, grenade, or unregistered full auto gun.

Holy ****... my new desk is going to be RIGHT next to the new supervisor they're bringing in, who is a 60 something year old ex JP Morgan *******. They're also cramming us into a little room with like 13 other people and absolutely no privacy. I'm fucked.

I know carryin knuckles in NY is a felony and since im on felony probation id be fucked but I dont go out looking for trouble so I always hope I wont just get randomly stopped. In case I do get stopped I hope that my pba cards and shields will get me outta trouble and they'll just take em. But if I get that dick cop Im doing an overnight stay If I hit someone with them then the storys gonna come out that the assailant was pullin them out on me and dropped em so I took em and swung lol. Hopefully it wont ever come to that but Id rather hit someone w knuckles than stab someone. Aint no comin back if you stab em - possibly.

Ain't no comin back if you got enough force behind a right hook and you're wearing knuckles possibly either. **** a kid I knew back in the day that got in a scuffle right down the block from my house, got dropped without knuckles, hit his head the wrong way and didn't wake up. No oxygen to the brain.

I don't do the weapon ****. I'm old school I'd rather knuckle up

Neal, just carry around a roll of quarters. Put that **** in your hand and catch somebody the right way and it's goodnight. It ain't illegal to carry a roll of quarters on you either.

Oh no doubt - when I was younger I saw a kid get dropped from a punch and his head hit a curb - lights out.

The whole thing is I dont go out looking for trouble but if it comes to me Ima swing with my knuckles and protect myself period. If I have a roll of quarters in my pocket Ima start using them for loosies and soon I wont have me no more lmao.

Depends on the state. I guess in AZ they are 100% legal.

I used to have a stun gun when I was a kid, that **** was fun. We'd all run around stun gunning each other for fun. It's a weird *** feeling.

I used to think there was an honor in fighting and that using weapons was weak....then I grew up and realized it's kill or be killed......you can kill a man by punching him in the face the wrong way......

I never go looking for trouble but it tends to find me......I honestly think tough guys looking for fights look for the big guy in the bar to start **** with....I'll walk away and make a joke....but put me in a situation where I can't walk away or "I'm afraid for my life or the life of a loved one" - quote from MA law for use of lethal force........and I'm not gonna hold back......I'm going to kill you as quickly as I can.......and I know a lot of ways to kill a man

Seriously....I'm a sick **** and it even makes me nervous thinking about being put in that situation......I've come a long way and I worry about slipping back into that rage I used to have problems with......especially since it's been bottled up for so long......but **** that **** I'm not gonna end up a vegetable or permanantly scarred or let my gf catch a beating or worse.....I'm ready for whatever the good lord throws at me.....

A knife is a tool, brass knuckles are a weapon.

I've yet to see a civilian stun gun that will even make me flinch......especially if they just catch you in the limbs......sometimes the torso hurts but if I'm mad......it ain't gonna do ****......now that cop **** on the other hand will **** your day up!!

As long as the blade is under 3-4" and it does not have a double edged or stiletto blade intended for stabbing it is legal in MI. You can also carry it across the border to Canada.

Pretty sure a felon is not allowed to carry a knife but maybe I should look into that. But then it boils down to I'd rather not kill someone coz of a stupid altercation. I know I could kill someone with knuckles too but the chance of doin so is less likely.

Im with you holmes. I dont go out lookin for problems but I will protect myself. The days of not using weapons are when you were younger and had **** to prove. I'm almost 34 and dont go out looking for trouble so if you bring it to me I will swing and knock you the **** out and then hand my knuckles to someone else lol.

I cant cross the border into Canada at all so I'm really not concerned with that lol. But Im gonna look into the laws for being allowed to carry a knife when you got a felony conviction. Still dont know if I'd wanna carry one just coz I really dont wanna use one in a fight. Now if it were like skillz said a situation where its my life or the life of a loved one then yeah I got no problem using it then.
