my point was you agreed with the local government on this issue so you didnt want it to get voted on but had it gone the other way you would want a vote .
there has to be checks and balances you cant just have one random politician making decisions and passing laws ...

 

I've never been one to be picked on......plus I have three equally unstable brothers......we're all better now that we don't live under the same roof......and that mother no longer has such a string influence on us......but back then we used to egg eachothers crazy on......

I'm saying this issue in particular should just be taken to the US supreme court and ruled on. Although the Religious Reich probably has control of that as well. People are arguing this religiously not lawfully.

 

HA HA HA my mom was usually the one throwing the knives.....she impaled my brothers face with a spoon......she broke a TV and skillet over my head......anything she could use as a weapon she would.....in the good old days before people called DSS when you went to school with bruises all over you!! Moving out was the only thing that fixed that......but just for me....she still had my lil brothers to **** with and they are still a couple of hot messes.....one is in counselling the other is a jackass and has become just like her.

 

I am sensitive when it comes to the people I care about....but honestly man that's where it ends......

And I already made that decision.....but there are lasting effects and you have to be aware of them in order to not allow that person to win......

 

as far as gays getting married i personally couldnt care less either way but you cant take the power away from the people .

when my mom went through menopause she absolutely changed 100% , she turned into a sweet level headed caring intelligent person that retained all the knowledge and experience that she could never seem to access before the change ...truly amazing

 

it's good to know there is hope.....it's been about 10 years since i spoke to my mother but her mother died recently.....she tried to use my call to pay my respects as an in......I denied it......but hopefully one day she won't be the evil social cancer she has been most of her life......
