This is my forum now
Re: This is my forum now
Graffiti was fun, getting jammed up and ordered to pay restitution isn't. I kinda miss climbing around in tunnels. I never got to do freights though, we had none out here... always wanted to. I wish I could remember the name of that **** we used to rock bus stops and windows... **** just etched into the glass.
Re: This is my forum now
when you replace the chain, get tehm to warranty the sprockets too. If you put a new chain on used sprockets, whichever is made of softer metal will "break in" to match the other. OEM engineers designed their **** so the sprockets would wear to match the chain, but if your sprockets are harder than tempered steel, then the chain will wear to match the sprockets (and put you right back whee you are now)
Make sense or no?

Re: This is my forum now
yeah I know they last longer but I was looking for as much juice as i could get....it's a "play bike".....the o-ring chains creates more drag......but having to constantly tighten the chain has been a hassle......so I may go that route.......
Re: This is my forum now
I gotta find my graffiti VHS tapes when I go home... I had like 20 of them. They're like wheelie movies, except a chase cam of people bombing.
Style Wars, Wild Style, Bomb the System... along with a bunch of less documentary and more straight street ****.

yeah they make a lot of cool ****......hey you have any input on replacing drum brakes.......I need to do it over the winter and wasn't sure if I should go with stock or aftermarket.......a dics brake conversion would be best but it's a huge project on this bike......
Re: This is my forum now
You'll never notice the difference between an o-ring chain and a non o-ring chain.
Re: This is my forum now
I always use stock pads on my motorcycles. They seem to last the longest.

Nah, that's would have been a great idea though. I always wanted to do wheatpasting too. We used to hit everything out here. Roofs, tunnels, tracks, vans, trucks, any and every building. The day I got knocked I was all kinds of fucked up and getting real wreckless, I was catching throwies on bus's picking up passengers on one of the busiest streets in SI.
All this talk kinda makes me wana go bombing.

Mike I actually was going to use the F4i as an art project when I eventually get a left fairing. I was actually googling stencling and different types of paint a few weeks ago to see how its done. I wanna make some hot ****.
Re: This is my forum now
I'm gonna wait till i get it in the house and take the rear tire off....I'm sure i need new pads but I just read on thumper talk that you can also sand down the inside of the drum where a glaze builds up......
Re: This is my forum now
most likely one pad will wear much faster than the other, and often you can just switch them for another year or 2 of use.
