Those things are sweet. I want to get one but they've always been expensive. Maybe I'll grab up one of these.

I thnk I have the same thing going on. I think the oil is coming from the engine valley. It's not a huge leak so I haven't bothered with it.

It doesn't use a laser to measure temp, just to show where it is measuring.

I got the top of the line trigger style for measuring parts for powdercoating. it was on sale for $29 from the normal price of $79.

i have the 3 orings for the hpop, just don't want to rip everything apart ... i know it's not the pedestal since i removed the ebp valve and put a new turbo pedestal in and new orings at the same time .... lots of oil around the valve covers too

first couple things that pop into my head:
misfiring cylinder
checking temps of specific spots in enclosed areas with a tremendous amount of light
measure the temp of the pool water without leaving the house
see if my jeep is up to temp every morning, again from the living room
