Re: Licence Plate Poll

my plate goes under my back seat, i rarely get screwed with and when I do, I just say my bad officer, it just fell off back there and im on my way to fix it right now. At worst, he'll give you a fix it ticket, $10....it counts not having a plate when you do gotta get away...no way in hell will they know who you were.

Registered and tagged, zip tied on the tail section. I'm starting to realize it's a moot point without an inspection sticker, lights, turn signals or a gauge pod.

Re: Licence Plate Poll

New and older bikes are made to get their stock undertails ripped or cut off. Zip tie it up the cheap way or make your own from scratch, undertail kits cost to much! Rockin it stock is to normal and easy to do. Zip it up!:YEAH

Re: Licence Plate Poll

I keep mine in the trunk because it "fell off".

Last time I kept my plate displayed I wasn't old enough to drink, I'm 26 now.

I keep it off for a variety of reasons. I don't want to get pulled over and arrested because someone else on a bike did this or that and they got a partial plate and my plate has two of the letters/numbers from the partial. Also it's rumored that bike thieves are looking up plates and tracking down bikes. I don't keep my bike at my apt, but on some occasions I park it outside my apt for a couple hours. I would rather make it as hard as possible for someone to locate my ****. Finally, in case I'm traveling at a high rate of speed and stopping for a ride to jail isn't on my to-do list for the day, well, sometimes you just have to keep on going!

None of my friends even run a plate and i'm starting to see why...people call you in for the dumbest ****. I don't run from the cops, but when people clal you in for lane splitting and then they come to your house later that day it sucks... they couldn't do anything but tell me to "drive a little safer" but i think i'm puling mine off and putting it in the trunk next ride. All you have to tell themk is the bolts fell out a little bit ago and you'll fix it when you get home... none of my friends that do this have ever gottena ticket for it and most of them do stop for the police.

in most states that's more of a crime than just not having one plated. A friend of mine got caught with plates from one of his cars on his work truck and got one hell of a fine ( something about falsifying a plate ) and the cop told him next time he'd be better off not running a plate at all

I have borrowed plates but I keep them tucked under the tail where you can't read them. I figured it's better to at least look like I have plates even if their on the wrong bike and you can't read them.

your better off not using a plate at all than using one off of another bike. thats a felony charge if they catch you.
