Re: Licence Plate Poll

What you do is, get on your bike holding your license plate in your hand, go about 20 mph, toss it on the ground, pick it up and do it a couple more times. Then put it in the trunk of your bike. When you get pulled over, (if you stop), tell the officer it fell off and you are on your way to get a bracket and bolts to remount it. Open trunk, show officer your license plate all scuffed up, and voila problem solved.

Yup - it CAN (under certain circumstances) be a felony here in Texas

Re: Licence Plate Poll

I hooked mine up to a power antenna motor. I hit a switch to flip it up while stunting, otherwise i leave it down so I am legal.

Thats funny, I did the same thing kinda (i just used a small cabnet hinge) Bridge toll - $4.00
cabnet hinge - $2.69
cabnet hinge screws and bolts - $0.89 (all together)
The feeling of paying less then bridge toll to never have to pay bridge toll again - priceless!

Re: Licence Plate Poll

got a f%#kin ticket, well more than one, just last week on the gixxer... speeding yeah... and "improper use of liscense plate". what an ***. It was bolted straight up to the under tail and it was visible fairly well. I'd been stopped 3 times and ticketed one of those w/ my plate the way it is and this was the first cop to say anything... got it mounted on a little angle iron until sat... got court friday.
Wooo Hoo! hahahahaha
