ya got's to do it!!! there is **** done on a fiddy that just floors most that are in the game. we got fools that can endo farther then the big bikes. you have to do this!

 

Yeah the 5 min could be pretty long with the amount of people that will be there competing. That was just a suggestion and nothing has been set in stone yet . The 5 minutes was from a riders perspective. When you take guys that can bust out every trick in the book it is simply impossible to cram everything into 3 min. So, I guess for the spectators interest it could remain 3 minutes and the riders will be forced to cram in their best stunts as fast as possible. Either way it is all up Todd, this is just a way for him to see what everybodies thoughts and opinions are....so keep them coming .

And thanks to everyone for contributing! We are gonna have the biggest and best event coming up here this month! Colbert is setting this up as an event "for the riders, by the riders" and this thread is assisting quite a bit with seeing everyone's viewpoint!

Longest endo
Sickest trick
Freestyle endo
Something with the 50's
Bikini Contest
Some kind of Combo wheelie contest--12 combos or plain wheelie combos


I think the team events are cool--but alot of great riding gets lost with all the riders out there to watch

The burnout contests just end up being who can destroy there bike the best, not necessarily who can do the best/most combo type burnout

The 5 minute free for all is good but can get boring

4 wheelers are cool but can get annoying

Timed endos make sense but can get boring

Target endos are cool but not for spectators that are far from the track

Longest tail drag should be a cool event if done right


Thats just my $.02--I have been to almost every comp. in the past 2 years so I have sat through all of these events so I have a fairly good idea about them from the spectator point of view. See you all down there

YA , I think the team event is my favorite. I like to see what a team can do. I,ve seen alot of "teams" being pulled by one guy. I,ve seen Point of balance stunting together and its much cooler.

Well with Tony and Rick unable to ride.....longest scrape is out!! Please dont do anything that will last 5 minutes a rider!!! That would take all damn week!!!

-Slowest wheelie (we'd see who is on point with 12's)
-Sickest trick (who's got the new ****?)
-Longest Stoppie (timed or distance...doesnt matter)

id drop the 50 contest, its fun to watch change ups on a 50 for like 45 seconds but then it kinda gets boring... no offense to anyone... is there enough people who do it to make it a event?

a good twist on the 50 contest would be to do it like the last 4 wheeler contest, put everyone out there at once and pick off the ones who just cant keep up with the tricks... then maybe let the crowd pick 1st,2nd, and 3rd...

individual
longest stoppie
longest scrape
and the timed endo in a set distance, i thought that was a awesome contest because it showed skill and who could get the last extra few seconds of hangtime, not just who can blaze a fast low stoppie. but at the last event it was only like what 75ft area, maybe make it a little longer, cuz now people are rocking long stoppies.
definately gotta keep the 4 wheeler contest to keep the four wheelers happy...

SBFreaks will have Nasty, Darius and Alex repN the 50's if there is competition for it.

Nasty can do all of it from circle wheelies, down shifting and up shifting on one wheel, endos, etc...

Call out all your stunts during your 3 min pass....rate it on this! Who ever can do what they call is one of the best...
