I agree with Matt. I think that the endo comp should be 150' to 200 approach. Then it comes down to the riders balance not the bikes power.

Re: Stuntober Fest 2006 {New Location}

After all the time I spent getting stoked for this event, it was pretty disappointing. And I would have to put most of the blame solidly on the promoters. Let's start with the late start both days, but particularly on Sunday. Anyone that wasn't a local probably had hundreds of miles to drive after the competion and they didn't get started until noon. Hey, promoters, make the freaking people standing along the race track fence, go find a seat, it is kinda difficult to see through a wall of people. Not to mention that it is dangerous for the spectator. They are not allowed to stand there during a race. Not to mention that we all paid the same for our tickets. That part really pissed me off. I just packed up and left at the first break. Have any of you ever heard the "Head On" commercials, how annoying they are; well if I had to hear "what, what" one more time I was going to choke someone. And then constantly advertising his personal line of clothing. Like the one with the finger prominently on the back of the shirt. Wonder how the mother with the 5 year old in front of me explained that. Like I said pretty disappointing, and I won't go back in January.

Re: Stuntober Fest 2006 {New Location}

Just got back from a meeting at the speedway today

Well we will have security along the fence line so people dont stand

They said they will pave a 100' flat along the grass line in the front before stuntwars, so all technical wheelies and burnouts will be on flat, the new pavement will fade up into the oval so that riders will be able to use both surfaces, riders that rode at stuntober will understand.

People need to understand that at the old track we had to handle everything, the owner did nothing to help or improve his track, now the track people are really involved and helping, which means, the event will only get better.

Thanks to all the riders, spectators, vendors, staff and everyone who supports the event.

Yes I am very impressed with the level of involvement at this event and the upcoming. Things really are changing for the better. Who could/would complain? I'm stoked. =)

Re: Stuntober Fest 2006 {New Location}

pretty sure it is 300 feet. starts at one end of the oval (basically end of turn 4) and if you roll 600 feet, you start to go into turn 1. slight grade all the way and as you get closer to the end, it banks more for the turn of course.

i think they were rolling 600+ in practice, but the wind picked up for the finals.

i'm also pretty sure the track is much smoother than lakeland...them boys were rolling tall

i think that 3/4 of the track is like 2500 feet. i'm rolling pretty much the entire front straight once i get up to speed in 6th...no damper though, so i cant go much past 350-400.

i'll be practicing though, so be ready to lose long endo at SW
