Difficulty, Execution and over all Performance

I dont care WTF you say, mat still has a direct impact in the scoring, overall should have a greater impact than the induvidual facets of performance. It skews the score no matter how you look at it.

Emrock just volunteered, that would probably be the smartest thing you could do right now is swap him for Matt. I have nothing against him but there is def a financial interest on his part which could potentially sway other judges as well. I have judged before and I know how one judge can sway anoter just as point of view discussions.

No matter how you look at it, he shouldn't be on the panel.

Matt isnt scoring overall, he is scoring all around, all the rider needs to do to get a perfect 20 is 1 stoppie 1 wheelie 1 burnout 1 acrobatic, it doesnt matter how good or how difficult these stunts are, or how good the rider rides,

that will be determined under,

difficulty = 20
exicution = 20
overall performance =40

which Ronnie and Kyle will be doing

if a riders does all 4 matt is just checking off, he is not figuring out how good the stunt is.

back to you, I dont care WTF you say

My apologies for being abrupt in the last post. It still has an impact though, A judge can impact the scoring no matter what criteria is being judged. I know he is just counting, but it still has an impact.

I am not attacking Matt's credibility as a judge in any way shape or form but if he wanted to, ultimately he could impact the score simply by counting or not counting a stunt. Which ultimately creates controversy.

Isn't judging already a big enough controversy in itself? Why add any additional to it.

Look I have to step in here, 1st off I'm not a d*ck like that I've been in motorcycle competitions all my life, I would NEVER give someone a bad score BC they ride with one of my competitors products. It would take a real a**hole to do that.
Anyone that knows me knows I'm not that way.
Come Monday I'll still be selling cages,race railz, 12 bars, etc, etc ,etc, and yes you are attacking my credibility.
I'm a big player in the motocycle industry, It would hurt me more then it would help......think about it, Kyle rides for FI what you think he is going to judge based on someone riding with a FI cage???.......No way!! He would never and either would I!!
If you don't like it don't show up.
Sorry not trying to be a **** here, just had to step in and let EVERYONE know that I don't care what cage you ride with... I will not be bias towards anyone rocking my products.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to keeping bike's minty!!

Matt you have every right to defend yourself and thats fine. Like I said, I am not attacking your crediblity as I don't know you. I don't see how you could think that. I was putting forth a scenario that could happen with any judge who poses financial gain from seeing particular individuals on the podium.

Kyle is sponsoered by FI he doesn't own it, do you see the point I am trying to get across?

Vert,
Its not the cage thats winning, it's the rider....If Kawi wins on Sat/Sun ( roadracing ) there sales go up. Not the parts ( sliders, etc ) used on the bike.

I like the fact that I have competition, It's keeps everyone honest..... well most of um.
I'm here for you guys ( stunters ) don't care whos cage you have on you bike's, some like Powers, some like FI, some like 905.......I don't care. everyone needs to have a choice in what they use and I WILL NOT!! Judge based on what cage is on someones bike....period
I am very excited to be part of this and will continue to be.

Now with that said, I'm outa here not to be back and comment on this again.....I got cages, etc to build
Much Love
Powers

Re: Stuntober Fest 2006 {New Location}

i'm thinking about attending, but chris, it is BS that you get 20 points for 1 wheelie, 1 burnout, 1 acro, 1 endo....why don't you guys use what seems to work best and do the variation portion of the scoring like xsba, it is the best way of doing variation.

basically by having 4 tricks equal 20 points, you make the judging out of 80 and not 100.

call or pm me if you want
