how much for just the lower part of the stay/?

 

I had a lot of fun, rode till I was too sore to ride more, had more fun, don't care about how the show went because of said fun. Above all I was really happy to see my friends I don't see often enough. Would I be less happy if I didn't place in any of the events, yes, but I still would have lost to friends, and there is no better way to lose than to those I respect.

Everyone has their opinions for judging.. The only reason I posted is cuz in my eyes crashing a christ and ghost riding the whip into the wall takes the cake on the worst f**** up EVER! Some think differently and I respect that.

Anyways, hopefully all of us will make it out to Vegas and do it again here at the end of the month right??

 

Listen to yourself if you watched the team events you wouldnt be posting on here i dont care if the whole team crashed elevators it was a team event key word team when G ran into mick before their run even got going and then they almost hit again 1 minute in that is a major lack of organization,oh yeah dont forget nate and G both being stranded with no ride for part of their run, secondly it was judged on technical difficulty,execution, and overall while they may have lost points on execution they made up for it in the other areas basically the team that performed better won nuf said quit crying.

I'm not so much crying though, I've rode with all these guys more than a few times, and have respect for every rider present, I really don't care that much.. LOL!! I really didn't see G and Mick bump into eachother I must have been filming Nate and Warren down on the far end. Also G wasn't stranded that was planned for him to meet Nate on the watchtower to do the apehanger, but I see how from a judges point of view it looked like a mistake. After Tony explained the tech of their tricks I agree now that it made up for their crash and the better team won. Don't take my opinion personally since you helped with the judging.. You being there to help organize and judge made it a lot better than it would have been if you were not present! I still need to watch the footage though, I got the christ crash close up right when he fell off!

 

I had to quote myself, so all the idiots out there could have a better understanding(you know who you are)....

1. Worst Competition Ever - No organization, no mic, no p.a., no announcer, no idea, no clue, no reason to ever throw a comp again....

2. JT Holt - Great rider and great guy, but his ability to host an event is just not there!!

3. Judges have NO IDEA - No type of rules, no score sheet, JT asked the riders how WE wanted to be scored, no F*Wording CLUE!!!

I did not once complain about the results of the competition on this forum. I do have my personal opinions about some results, but there is no reason to post them because the comp is over and everyone already got paid. Just to remind everyone what I typed...

Riding with everyone was a good time though... Its always good to get everyone together and session it up!!! Good job to all those that won and collected that paper....

If you think this is b i tching, let me know. I'm trying to stress the issue that a BAD competition effects the riders involved and the fans that make it happen. If the riders think its shitty, then why would any fans want to be there to take part of it. I would like to help strain out all the people that are just trying to make a buck and have no idea what a competition needs and consists of. These types of competitions are NOT good for the sport. What if there were some top dogs from huge corporations watching the event?? Do you think they would want to support or sponsor another one like that??

Out of all people, you should have a better understanding of what I was saying. You been in the industry long enough.

I wasn't focusing on any judges personally!!! Judges didn't know what was going on because there wasn't any written rules or score sheets. Judges didn't know what was going on because host/promoter had no idea what was going on. It was not the Judges themselves fault.

Yep that was my main arguement also.. If you want to call that crying go ahead... That part of the competition the orginization, and keeping the fans/spectators entertained, having a comentator on the PA at all times is more important than who wins..

The second part was the team event crashes but that was just my opinion and wasn't that important. The payouts wern't huge and it was about fun for the riders more than anything else..

and besides when u go to event when payouts r 300$ vs 3-4000$ what u expecting to see exactly?

 

you guys better think of what a team comp is supposed to be the main reason stacked won is because the rode as a team warrens team did that for about 30 sec and then just started doing random individual runs but whatever i guess you cant make everyone happy.

I expect there to be someone on the PA that can talk through a competition or show, to hype up the croud, let them know what is going on, reguardless of the size of the event, what is getting paid out to the winners, or if it's a side show or not.. This wasn't the 1st WBBF event.. I remember the first one being back in 02 or 03 I think. If it was the first stunt competition ever I wouldn't expect much.. Promoters and or event hosts need to step up their game in orginization of competitions to the level of where the sport is at today..example(XDL & Stuntfest) Like G said if their were big corporate sponsors overlooking the event it would look like the sport is amature and not very professional.

 

what the point of PA if croud size is 10-15 people
