BMX Fun

Anyone try to practise their motorcycle stunts on their BMX? I love pulling 12's (as 12 as a bmx can go anyways) and all sorts of endo's. 1 handed endos, no-handed endo's, highchair (as in on the handlebars) endo's, reverse endo's, rolling endo's, u name it. The only thing is that my bike's front brake is busted. I gotta use my foot!

I was riding a wheelie home from work one day when we were having 40 knot wind gusts and one hit me while I was going around a bend and not knowing the wind blew my handlebars off center, my wheel was trned and while my bars were straight I fell when I hit the ground, but nobody was out cuz they were sensible to stay in during the rain

Up here in canada we got this white **** on the ground and these 20 mph winds blowing 15 F wind at ya. It's impossible to motorcycle on cold days, and only witha side-car on the warmer ones. But thats not really bikin now is it.

Damn winter.

I just practise... it's hard to explain. Try riding slow, maybe 5 or 10 mph, and then smoothly but quickly apply the front brake. If you just yank the brake you'll either lock the tire and slide out, or you'll come up to fast and do a front flip.

If you're smooth with the braking the tire keeps traction. Think of it like putting a coin on a piece of paper. If you yank the paper real hard, it will slide out from under the coin right? But if you pull it smoothy the coin will go with the paper, and then you can keep pulling harder and harder to make it go faster, and the coin stays on.

So if you pull your brake smoothly, you run less chance of sliding out. Other then that, keep your *** in the seat and just keep trying. Pull harder every time until you get so high that you can feel the bike going over forwards... then jump!

If like me your brakes don't work good enough for it, then stand up and lean forwards and try pulling the brakes. If that still doesn't work, then try kinda jumping when you do it. Like--*Ok you're coming up to where you wanna do the endo, now you squat down a bit on the peddals, then push up with your legs and hit the front brake. The bike will come up under you (cuz your weight is in mid air) and then by the time your weight starts to push back on your feet on the peddals, you should be up on the front tire good enough that you won't come down.

Hope it helps!
