I've not got street tyres yet nah. Will pick some up soon though, been spending my money on other stuff at the minute like GPS system for my car. (locates and warns me of speed cameras!) main push bike thing on the list is a damn sprocket guard.. my right hand trouser leg has a massive hole in it where it keeps catching the sprocket and ripping

most of the time i just roll my left pantleg up, or tuck it into my sock.

the street tire will make a huge difference, i learned circles on knobbies, and as soon as i got my street tires i was instantly doing them MUCH tighter.

Re: Circles..

have any of you ever seen a scrape bar for a bicycle? i just tried making one from a plastic fender that attaches to the seat post, and it scrapes the ground at about 11 O'clock and its kinda fun to just tap, cause it doesn't hold me up obviously....that'd be sweet to have an actual steel one that could hold you up while you scraped

it was fun, but you had to be HAULING *** to get it to scrape for very far, and it slowed you down so fast there really wasn't any time for bar tricks.

it held up great, didn't bend or nothing.

i made it by buying a laggauge rack that mounts to my seat post, made of 1" sqaure steel. i than bought some "1 sqaure, 16 gauge steel, and made the shaft and T section of that.

12 is real far back, so when you DO hit the bar, over 75% of your weight is on it, so it slows you down FAST!

Re: Circles..

Damn, I want one too. Just got out and tried some old tricks again. So freakin windy out, cant do circles today. But man, I love the trick, one handed while you hold the front tire with your left hand.
