overhaul

so about 2 weeks back, i borrowed a 15mm socket from bikes in town, and today i finally decided to bring it back to him, seizing the oppurtunity, i decided to overhaul my bike, since there were no bikes to fix(michigan, winter) and wow, it made such a difference. i can skid my back tire with no problem at all, the tires run alot smoother, no longer afraid of the chain breaking, man, i did not realize i neglected it so much.

Re: overhaul

yep, before the tire kind of hesitated and i went about 4 feet before it would lock up, but i put some brake cleaner on my rim and pads, also adjsuted the cables, and BAM! instantanious locking. also, the fronts work even better than before, making trackstands alot twitchier. it put a smile on my face riding home. it felt liek a new bike, all clean and properly working. i love that. but still, i need to do something about that rear sprocket. i never trusted that thing. pete, you think you can maybe tack it in place for me?
