naw man you still got a ways to go.. even at highway speeds its pretty near straight up. basically your headlight will be a spotlight ...and you can see the front tire while looking straight ahead. keep at it and you'll get it... just remember you got a ways.

good job man!.... try staying over the bike.. chest to windscreen... maybe even drop 5-10 psi in the rear tire it will widen the BP

balance point is the same no matter what speed you're at. you speed up if your under the balance point. You slow down when your past it and using brake.

get that front tire higher!

I know I've hit it, that wasn't at BP in the pic. I was rolling it for a while at 25 past this 10 year old kid and his mother and the windscreen was at my chest.

I'm gonna go out and practice some more today and see if I can hit it going faster.

I thought the wind resistance you get when you're going faster makes the balance point lower or something to that effect.

Re: How close to balance point?

dude slow down, 25 is fast enough, if you just leaned bp you should really practice slow stuff, first gear no throttles, it will take a while but high speed bp's a dangerous ****. one wrong move and we'll see ya in the wrong thread

the only reason why you have a little play in the balance point is body position. You can lean way back and have the front end come down. It's all balance and weight shifting. kind of confusing. And Yes wind and that stuff can definately have an effect.

So if I lean forward does that make the BP wider?

leaning back will lower the balance point, leaning forward will raise it. i kno it makes no sense but lean forward, its easier. o and take the plastics off that beautiful machine until ur really really good, cuz ur gunna crash eventually...

I'm gonna go out and practice again on the highway.

Wait let get this straight?? BP at highway speeds is different that 25-30 mph?? i still don't ride BP wheelies but from what I know I thought it was the same unless you change your body position?

Re: How close to balance point?

Oh ok I didn't know. I was just out and was getting that floaty feeling doing about 40 but I just can't get my throttle control down, it is really jerky, in fact I'm going 10x further when I'm under balance point than trying to stay in it.
