Honda cfr and xr 50 ban, coming soon.

i bought my son a 2008 crf 50, so we recieve all kinda emails in regards to it, and recently there is a ban on sales on new and used honda "KID" bikes due to contents of lead (as in all motorized vehicles) but due to the focus of it being a kids bike, and considered a toy, toys cannot contain lead, so as listed on www.road2recovery.com on 1/29/08. the ban will go into effect feb 19 2009, so take this info to the dealership, and Im sure you can score a hella deal cause after the ban, they can no longer sell them... Just a look out for anyone interested in one, they are now gonna be super affordable, and imposssable to sell through a dealer soon this month..

oh, AS FAR AS I NOTICED, ITS ONLY HONDA BANNING SO FAR( NOT THAT THE OTHER MAIN BRANDS ARE WORTH A DAMN) BUT IT WOULD BE SMART TO MAKE AN INVESTMENT IN A SMALL STOCK OF FIDDYS FOR WHEN THEY ARENT AVAILABLE. YOU CAN GET A GOOD DOLLAR FOR THEM. IF YOUR HUSTLE GAME IS GOOD, YOU CAN SCORE A BRAND NEW ONE FOR ABOUT A GRAND.....

Re: Honda cfr and xr 50 ban, coming soon.

Has nothing to do with honda, i sell polaris ATV's and it is hitting us too, goes into effect Feb 10, anything being sold for a child 12 years old or younger in the United States only has to go threw a Federal safety test for lead, you can thank the chinese for this, remember the toys they made with the lead in them for christmas. But the 50's are not banned for good they just have to be tested which might take a few months or more. But there is no law against a private owner which is not a dealer selling them.
