Re: FIS mod and Working on tank
i hope you are not planing to wet sand the bondo. but you should sand the bondo first before you decide to put another layer of bondo on. unless you like creating more work for yourself. just dry sand makes less of mess than wet sanding.

Don't wet sand it Kelm. Sand it down with the roughest **** you can get until both your arms are numb. It looks like ther is way too much bondo on there right now.
Just get a thin layer of the bondo, to where it covers any dents and creases. If it where my tank, I'd try to focus the rest of the bondo on forming a better lip at the back of the tank. It takes time dude, probly a few days to get it right. Be patient with it.
The seat will work, it doesn't look too good, but your foot fits in it right. THats all that matters.

It looks like its cut out a little much towards the back, but by the looks of it, it should work fine.
I still want to cut a hole in my seat, but I'm not sure how to do it yet. I have a ******* exhaust pipe running through it, so I want to see how other people are doing theirs.
I'm working on my dent. I'm about ready to put a layer of rust proof spray paint on it now.
