SCOTT...if you braced/reinforced your rear sub box/frame with diamond plate or flat aluminum plate and rocked the Impaktech reinforced roundbar in combination with the "nate plate" as to preserve your tailsection and weak subframe,I think you would be alot happier with the new gix
I have clacked out doing rev limit stall attempts and no breakage to the rear part or lower section yet....really that and the idle issues people have seem like minor things and its a good bike once thet have been adressed

How much you charge for a setup like that ? Here is my carnage shots and some random other ones of my gix lately. I see your bar goes to both points of the lower sub frame, the sick Inv only reaches the one and asks you to drill into that silver Piece of **** which i refuse to do. i ziptied it with the thickass ones with the metal center instead of drilling.
in combination with a subcage(i rock 1 powers and 1 Impaktech)your setup should last longer and be stronger
and if you wanna go to the next level, build or buy a lower steel subframe...as far as bracing the rear seat frame you can have a welding shop weld it in or you can make bracing and bolt it in...just make sure you dont brace over where the roundbar bolts in

hit up Son Dooby and/or Impaktech for the reinforcement/roundbar($100)and the "nate plate"($80 I think)..and the 1 piece "street" tail I got off egay for $120
