Re: wrong?
Thats fucked up if you ask me
the kid can't even reach the foot rests for starters.. imagine flipping a wheely with the kid on? strapped to the bike? so when the bike goes flying down the road the kid goes with it?
irresponsible... not that what i say changes anything, but personally id never do that to a child that really doesnt understand the consequences of an accident so therefore "doesnt really have a choice"

that kid, is our friend tony's and it was his idea, and she LOVES wheelies!!
she had a great time!
that rider is E-dub from socal, and he is a father himself and would never do anything to hurt that child
personally, ya i think that was a bad idea but it was all in fun.
that stunt though did cost us the ability to do stunts at the angels stadium for the toyride.org!!!
oh well.. kids love wheelies too!

Re: wrong?
Boy Mr. Kane for someone who wants the stunting sport to progress so much you sure do have a "It was all done in fun" attitude when it comes to a chillds safety. Hmmm lets see I wonder if the riders ugly bikes are the problem or maybe the lack of safety in situations like this that thousands of people see? You idiot, of course it was all done in fun!!!, its the same reason we all do what we do on our bikes for FUN, but as you know that doesnt stop accidents from happening! but like you say "OH WELL" yeah that attitude will really help this sport.. Geez grow up.
wow!
you can read my post however you want.
I would never put a kid on my bike.
I dont even like taking chicks for a ride, and the idea of wrecking my bike and hurting someone is a dark fear i never want to feel.
with that said...
I give a rats *** what you, or anyone else does
you wanna do wheelies with a mentally retarded girl scout with down syndrome. i dont care have fun. its not my job to babysit every rider in this sport... christ man. gimme a break.
one of my first memories of ever riding on a motorcycle my older cousin put me on the back of his dirtbike, i was probably around 8 years old, he was doing wheelies and going over hills. i was scared shitless. he also wrecked with me on the back. i had road rash all up my leg. big deal.
lifes all about choices, had he wrecked and hurt that girl, well that would have been a horrible response to a poor choice in life. but he didnt.
hes a grown man, not my job to play hallmonitor.

Re: wrong?
yah my dad had one of those strap things when i used to ride on the back when i was little....ur strapped in like ur jumping out of the plane..over and around the arms around the stomach, under the legs,,,ur not going anywhere..and it straps around the driver...and the lil pad between the 2 has a lil set of grips on it so the kid can feel like there on a bike....and the chances of edub crashing a power wheelie sitdown...come on be real....i mean we cud also all win our state lotteries tomrw and retire to...but lets be serious
parents let there kids go down ski slopes...they let kids as old as 5 go out on mx tracks...they let them sit in the front seat of the car under the age of 13, parents put there kids in a reasonable amount of danger daily...you cant keep them in a plastic bubble....and being strapped with a helmet on to a professional stunt rider doing power sitdowns is no more dangerous then any of those other things...
i kno im only a dumb internet gangsta that doesnt kno wat its like to have kids...so i wouldnt kno
