Yes I cut and shorten the Akros I actually started a trend around here and almost everyone I ride with now have Akro shorties...I have 4 cans right now I have to shorten soon for other friends too...

I have to ask though, what 12 bar is on that 636? I'm looking for ideas for mine and that looks about the right length.. is it custom? or a certain brand?

how do you go about cutting the muffler can?? I took mine when it fell off to a muffler shop and aksed if they can chop it in half.. the dude quickly responded HELL NO! i was suprised and aksed why not.. he started feeding me a bunch of bullshit.. i thought it was simple with proper tools that a muffler shop has no?

It is simple, I'm not sure if your can has the riveted end on it or not but most bikes do.. just drill or grind out the rivets, pop the end off, cut your can, and rivet the end back on.

ya it got the rivets.. but the guy was like no thats not gonna work this and that.. i just told him whatever i'll go somewhere else.
