As far as the 05 gsxr 600 subframes trash the subframe and tell umm to get a o3 gsxr 1000 subframe for it.. Thats what i run and noooooo Problems yet ,works like a charm..
Just grind the front of the mounts down alittle bit get the 1000 seats and your golden..

Nah, from the other bars I've seen the side bars went all the way to the rear seat latch, I didn't think that these looked long enough, but now looking at the pics, they seem like they will work fine. Besides, your test subjects seem to like them!!

When I made mine, I put the bars on the inside and ran them most of the way up the subframe to reinforce it as well. But I also had to cut out all the plastic from inside the subframe and relocate some of the electronics, now there is no undertail on my bike!
