River Rouge Injury Update
Re: River Rouge Injury Update
I wasn't there, but I had a chance to see some footage from the show last night. Glad to hear he is doing better, and to further reinforce what everyone believes-I am sure that Rick had no fault in the accident. Many people, including myself knew that this whole deal was gonna go wrong in one way or another.....its just a shame that the person(s) organizing this show couldn't see it. Common sense has to come before ego, 'cause a person's ego gets you into trouble every time. In closing, get well soon, Tyler. We all wish you a speedy recovery.

He now knows that its not your fault, he doesn't remember much from that day (not even crossing the border on one wheel) but we are all trying to help him remember by telling him what went down. His head is fine (well same as it was before the accident)
the doctors say he doesn't remember much cause of the shock. He says he will be stronger and faster than ever, now that he has a rod in his leg. We told him about all your concerns and he wanted us to thank everyone for thinking of him. Not sure when he's coming home probably a few weeks. He's got alot of drugs going into him (I think hes loving that)
.
Also he wanted to make sure that we thanked the nurse/rider that was attending to him before the ambulance got there. If anyone knows who he is or what group he is from please let me know. Tyler wants to thank him personally when he gets out.

Re: River Rouge Injury Update
As some of you may have known there was a misfortunate accident that has left a fellow rider Tyler Hebblethwaite aka "Bulletproof" unable to work due to injuries from a stunt show last Saturday Sept. 4th in River Rouge Mi. Tyler was avoiding a bystander walking across the designated riding area and was struck by another rider in this attempt. Tyler has suffered major injuries to his right leg including loss of feeling in foot due to nerve damage, a broken leg in 3 areas including a compound fracture and a concussion. Due to this injury Tyler will be out of work for an estimated 2 months and will remain in the hospital for an undetermined time.

Re: River Rouge Injury Update
I was right in front of the accident when it happened - it was nasty...Prayers are with everyone and like everyone else has said - Rick it was not your fault at all. Glad to hear Tyler's doing better. As far as the show it was a little unorganized yeah but it was still one of the better shows I have been to - especially letting everyone ride. I think it was a good display and glad to see everyone was setting a good example for the kids and rocking helmets.
