He was good. WAS. The only well rounded fighters back then were Gracie and Dan Severn. Both dominated Shamrock. He's not fit to be in a modern MMA fight cause he is a brawler with no kind of mixed martial arts background. 

Even Severn was basically all wrestling and Gracie was all BJJ. You try the one dimensional crap these days and you end up like Gracie did last weekend against hughes. You need at least a wrestling background, Submissions, boxing and BBJ and Muy tai won't hurt to know either. UFC is awesome, but check out Pride Ultimate Fighting. When they hold Pride events (mainly Japan) it sells out 60,000 capacity arenas. The toughest guy of all, I believe, fights in pride....thats Fedor Emelianenko, one bad *** Russian. Also, on the same card for UFC61 is the rematch of Silvia and Arvoloski....that should be a good one.

Gracey is still a bad A$$ too... No mucle tone what so ever and still did well. Oh he was out classed but come on if he bumped into you at a bar you wouldn't think twice about trying to kick his ***.

I'm actually giving serious though to opening a MMA gym here in Michigan. I'v got the $$, but time is a biatch. Obviously a gym, then scheduled Wrestling, Boxing, Kickboxing and BBJ classes weekley.
