Joe's Story Time
December 1996, Nick Hill decides to talk me into trying to snowboard.....I idioticly agree even after Nick tell's me that the snowboard I will be riding was constructed from 3 or 4 other snowboards at home.
Nick hands Joe a pair of work boots to use in place of snowboard boots.
I agree to use the work boots in place of snowboard boots because nick said they were very unique boots with hidden special powers.
I remember riding up the lift for the first time at pine ****.....I wasent very happy as I knew I was about to crash. FLOP....joes crashs off the lift as it reaches the top of the hill. Nick and Brandon laugh and giggle like little kids.
At this point they proceed to tell me that im doing great and I should try to go down the quater mile slope.......I agree.
Feeling confident that im wearing magical boots I take off full steam down the quarter mile run riding the board flat. KAPOW! I crash really hard and can hear snickering all around me.....I look up and see nick hill pull a 720 off the kicker beside me. For a second I thought "I can do that"
Nick and brandon proceed to get me going down every side of pine **** on my first day snowboarding........I was a bruised and battered pop cicle.
There's alot more to this story....part of which when nick told me the boots were not magical and they came from K-MART.....Totally shattering my confidence level and thus making me crash more than usual.
There is a very important moral to this story and that is...........
Nick Hill is a c0ckface,and noone should ever listen to anything he says.
