Hey Everybody,

On May 30th, 2005, there will be a group ride in the Burton City Memorial Day Parade, followed by a bike blessing. Scooter Trash (ST) and DV8 will be doing 1 one hour show at this event. Fiddy groups are encouraged to come as well.

The fiddys will be allowed to stunt the parking lot of the church this is being held at. I am trying to work out details to let them ride directly in the parade.

Scooter Trash and DV8 will be performing at this event, which will take place on Center Road between Atherton and Bristol a five lane road, In front of City Hall!! EMT, Police and Fire will be present.

The City of Burton and Ebenezer Ministries will be hosting this event and doing the blessing of the bikes, no matter what you ride get there!! Great event with music, free food and drink, free give-aways and group ride with police escort (that means no stopping at lights or intesections). There will also be a Burn-out pit with cement barriers, so if you wanna blow up your tire come on out!!

All riding groups across the Michigan and the Midwest are encouraged to come out...Last year the ride had about 120 bikes and we would like to double if not triple that!! The Address to Ebenezer Ministries:

FYI:
*The big bike section of this event will not be a free for all section, only the members of ST and DV8 will be selecting who can stunt in this area. Sorry, but this will not be a practice session. This is for the safety of the riders and most importantly the spectators, because without their support we have no sport!

I don't think a church is the best place to come out..they usually frown on that sort of thing; you should try the Ellen show

Update!!

I have a meeting with the mayor and city officials of Burton on March, 22 2005. I will be addressing the needs of the teams, and laying down what ST and DV8 need as far as vending, safety, and time!

One more step away from getting everything finalized. The payment for the teams is not a problem so all we have to do is work out the details.

Please if you have any needs consider me your Representative, PM me with any ideas you want to voice or have considered for the show. I might miss it in the threads so please PM only to ensure good commuinication.

THe mayor, police and fire agree with the plan, ST and DV8 will have booths to sell merchandise etc...The Blessing will begin approx. 4:30 followed by the stunt show!

I'm trying to hook up some news coverage for the fellas. My sister is a reporter in Flint.

 

are people spending the night up there Sat or Sun or Mon night?

I can crash at my sister's on Sunday night. Gotta work 13 hours on Tue though...

 

Some people will be up here from team addiction on sunday night...we are having a little music, booze, and what have you at a hole in the wall bar in Flint...come on up it will be a good time
