Miltown Riders & friends, listen up

The video is coming along pretty good. I am still leary about getting it all done by January 31st but I am not giving up on it either. I would rather have it look completely polished than good up till the end where it looks like it was slapped together.

Here is are some rough approximations so far....

Video editing/producing = 80% done
DVD Sleeve insert = 90% done
Mass production = 0%
DVD Art = 0%
DVD Title = 0%
My Jack Daniels supply = 5%

- As you can see a good amount of work needs to be done (and I need to buy some more JD!!).

- As for video I need to do the intro's, ice show, and filler. Then I can go through and decide what to axe and what to keep. Before I do the final cutting there will most likely be ~50-60 minutes of video/music but I am planning on cutting it to about 35-40 minutes......the rest can be made into "bonus" crap.....

- I got a really good start on the sleeve insert last night and I think it looks , but I will leave that up to everyone else once I get it posted up here.

- We also need to find someone to produce this for us . Any ideas? VMC where ya at?

- DVD Cover art. Any of our boyz want to contribute to this? I spent enough time Photo-chopping for the sleeve work so I was hoping I could get some help on the actual DVD art work....cough....Mike and/or Jesse....

- And most importantly we need a title to this P.O.S.

Help me on this one. To our members an obvious choice is "Volume 2", but since "Volume 1" was just a fun little side project for me and was only distributed to members, family, and friends of the group it doesnt quite work the same.

The only thing that comes to my mind is something along the lines of Social Disorders or Intentional Dysfunction <----thats how my brain works when I have no JACK DANIELS.

Re: Miltown Riders & friends, listen up

we should def consider it our first video, since last years was just a test run, Mike would be a better canidite for the cover since i have no idea how to do any of that crap. I do have some footage that i will get you this week.

Re: Miltown Riders & friends, listen up

not that i have any super ideas or anything, but i'm thinking you should stay away from anything related to "insane" since that's what the title of every other bike video is.

or "law-breaking" mumbo jumbo either for that matter.

something along the lines of "creativity" or whatever, i don't know, i don't do titles, ask my profs.

good luck bro

I am liking the idea he has. If we are ever gonna make this sport mainstream we dont want the public looking at it as a bunch of hooligans riding cycles

Yeah, but marketing is all that and then some. Which video would you buy if you didnt know a thing about what was on it but just went by the cover? Something with "insane" or "law-breaking" or something like "Frankies creative video of motor-driven cycles as peformed by Milwaukee area riders".... .....not that I would use that crappy title......then consider the artwork to go with those titles......the "insane" one featuring bikers performing a small variety of stunts with the city backdrop and and a guy in a straight jacket or the "Frankies...." video with a picture of a fuzzy bunny (rabbit, not playboy) sitting on a little scooter?

I'm still open......I will more than happily make more covers to fit a different/better title if any come up.

Re: Miltown Riders & friends, listen up

who said anything about bunnies????

but hey whatever floats your s***

and i wasn't talking about some soft core, freaked up, hippie stuff either. and by creative i literally meant something not in the norm, like the regular mumbo-jumbo crap (titles only, don't give s***, i'm not talking about the videos themselves!!!! <--- just wanna cover myself)

I agree...market to the rich old pervs who will then buy their hot neices phat bikes so he can hopefully see her in your next video. It accomplishes both two sales of your product and puts more hot women into the stunt community. :YEAH
