i need camera advice

some of the guys n i are on the market for some cameras n basically are askin for suggestions on whats hot now days. preferably hard drive for ease of use and also high def. with a reasonable price... (under 1500). so whats workin for everybody in our sport. thanx

i've used a canon GL2 for a couple years now.....hand held cams that are small are JUNK, get something big and something that looks professional.....look to spend a couple g's on one

I've been using Panasonic DVX100's both the A and B series for a couple years now and it's great. It shoots in 60i or 24p and the picture is amazing. I paid around $3,600 for mine but you can pick up a used one that is in excellent condition for around $1,500 since so many people are switching to HD. I've used all the camera's in the sub $5,000 price range and nothing compares to the dvx for standard definition video.
