What is this world coming to?

What’s next, Breathalyzer’s on bottles of beer that won’t open if you blow a .01

How about automatic ticket machines in cars that monitor you speed and give you a citation if you go faster than 75mph

Hey.. Why stop there.

Voice recognition in public places so that if you cuss, you’re issued a citation that is mailed to your home

Noise reduction impulse detectors that automatically target and shut down the electronics where the sound originates

Curfews in neighborhoods. They could have motion sensors that detect human movement and hit you with an electronic stun gun until police arrive

hey.. Why not cell phones that don’t work while your moving faster than walking speed

Recorders in every car like a plane so they can properly identify the culprit in an accident

A computer chip installed at birth that can identify where you are at any time on the planet. This chip would also emit impulses that force vomiting if you induce alcohol under the age of 21

Hell, we could all wear self-destruct belts that are mandatory in case your caught in the act of a crime, they could just execute you on the spot

blah blah blah..

is anyone listening.. This **** is getting out of hand

I believe they are speaking of a chip that will show where you are and everything you do. The chip they use for dogs, cats ect is a electronic identification chip that can be scanned by a vet to verify who the owners are ect...

Pretty scary predictions Over_Dose. The technology for most everything you mentioned is already hear, or very close. Some of these may be a bit of a stretch (auto-vomit if drinking under 21), but all of them have a basic technology that is available.

Noise reduction pulse detection and shut-down electronics: E-bomb's are almost a reality, the military has been working on them for a long time. They send out a strong magnetic pulse and shut down all electronics in their path. It won't take to long before they become directional.

Auto ticket machines: Some rental car companies already have GPS locators in their cars, and will charge you extra if you exceed a certain set limit. This is being faught in the courts, but the rental car company won in the smaller courts, it is now in appeals (Pennsylvania I believe.)

Voice recognition: technology is there, but still need to build a large database. Visual recognition is being employed in some large cities where there are known terrorists. A camera scans the faces of people passing and sends up an alert if a face matches one that is in its database.

Cell phones....Easy to put a GPS locator in them, and monitor speed. Added cost, but if the gov't mandated it, it could happen in probably less than a year.

Computer chips installed at birth. Easy. My dog (yep, from the Humane Society) has one. Easy to change the chip architecture to monitor location via GPS.

Etc, etc, etc.

Keep watching your local polititians and stop this **** from going any further!

Actually on the chip thing, a company i invested in last year already has it for people. Company name is ADSX they have a product that you get implanted and it carries your medical history on it, in case you ever get lost or are unconsious and cant answer questions the medical team just runs a scanner over your arm (kinda like a barcode) and it will give them your history. The company also has a sub group called Digital Angel, they make the animal tracking GPS chips, as well as Chips installed in watches for children. They have already done intitial testing of adding the GPS functionality to the subdermal medical info chip, and the next generation chip will be realeased witht hat as well as monitoring functions. This way you can remotely monitor heart beat, blood pressure and thus get stress levels etc. The reason for these things, is military applications. Imagine chipping your entire company, sending various platoons out in different directions, you can track them in real time on the battlefield and also monitor thier vital signs, thus know when the enemy is near, or they are pinned down or if they get shot. Besides a military contract for this company would be huge dollar wise.

As for me do I truly think this is good, hell no it scares the **** out of me, i can see the good in it sure but call mew a cynic cause i sure as hell see the potiential for bad there as well.
