Aight guys, i have lowerd many 600, but with the 929 i can not get the triples to slide down the forks, There are only 4 bolts and the should slide right?? are there any tricks??
Some time i hate being short, but i love weighting nothing.

hey why dont you give us back our mascot allredy jeeeeeeeshhhh!!!

if you have all of the fasteners loose...take a large screwdriver and LIGHTLY spread the triples at the pinch point...they are just binding up...or shoot them with some wd-40 overnioght (but tighten the bolts or your bike will be on the floor the next morning....torches on fork tubes is not a good idea...

WAIT!WAIT!

Don't do any prying, etc. There are clips around the fork tubes that prevent the clip-ons from sliding down, and in turn, hold the triple where it's at. They go about 3/4 of the way around the fork tubes, kind of like a snap ring. Lift the triple up, then wiggle the clip-ons up and you should see them. Just pop them off and you should be good to go lowering.
