Looking to guage interest on the Overnight multi-club ride we are working on setting up in Grand Rapids for August of this year.. THis would be a ride out to GR with an overnight stay with riding in the GR area and then back home...

I've gotten some info out to the GR Street Ryders to guage their interest in participation... If things can be planned between our (2) clubs, the next invite will go out to Chicagoland Sportbikes.. Our goal is to set up a large midwest multi club ride out in GR... But we have to start local and see how many people (members & non-members) would be interested in doing this.. This would be a first of a kind for this club and I think It would be one hell of a good time..

Please post up the interest and myself or Thunder will keep ya all posted on new developments with our friends from the west....

Do you have an idea of how many pp are interested in coming up? Were looking into hotels, planning out rides and possibly a party. Also need to know for the party location if everyone is 21+ or mostly 18+.
For a date does August 18-19 work for everyone?
Have you found out if Chicagoland Sportbikes are interested as well. The more the merrier. lol

Hey Chocha, I'm the Secretary at the GRSR. We are very happy you guys are coming. We have couple options already about Hotels for you guys. Obviously If you guys share a room the lower the individual cost will be and we are trying to get the best deal possible. We are also having an Annual Party and have some backroads, country, fun, twisties rides planned. A soon as you can get to us an estimated amount of rooms, that you guys will need so we can proceed contacting the Hotel of choice. Please feel free to invite any other clubs to come down and have fun here in GR, DSR, Chicagoland, Team Addiction, RR, etc. To make this a smooth project we need a head count also. Hey this is going to be an exciting weekend. We are looking forward to it.
Right now we know most of you guys are 21+ and you guys are arriving on August 18 departuring on Sunday 20?

i will be in grand haven that weekend which is only like 40 minutes away....so i will try and head out to meet up

 

i will hopefully have a rough head count this sunday!!! i know of at least 6-7 for sure already!

Its going to $65/night for a room at the Crowne Plaza in GR

We will be meeting in the Eastland Mall Parking Lot at 6PM on Friday August 18th and returning August 20th (Sunday AM).

GRSR is planning ride and party events for when we will be out there.

I also need help with getting bikes trailered out there so we dont burn ourselves out riding there. Please PM me if you can help with this.

ya if we are leaving at 6I can ride out its only 2.5 - 3 hrs... if noone has room..
