support our troops ride?
Anyone interested in organizing a support our troops ride? Not just DSR, but all local sportbike clubs? I figured if you get DSR, Redline, DV8, Motor City and some others, that would be a heck of a group.
I don't know about legalities of it, but maybe donations could be accepted and used to buy calling cards or other things the troops could use. I know charities are expensive to start up, but I'm sure we could get in touch with someone on this. Kinda like a ride for kids benifit.

www.homelandsportbikes.com is in for sure. There is going to be a huge ride in June hosted by Wolverine Harley but its Starboyz weekend. Anyway this has been talked about and we need to set up a start/finish places with finish being at Hooters or a place like that. I know we can get hooked up on cheap food somewhere. Im gone for 2 weeks but if there is still talk I will get with Tim and Kieth and the pres. of all the other clubs to try and set something up.

On may 4 there is a M.C. ride (all bikes welcome) for the troops.
It's held at the UAW hall in Wixom (2893 Wixom Rd)
Breakfast served at 9 am and goes from there.
It's $20.00 and all money goes for phone cards for the troops in Iraq
