So... I'm sitting in fairly heavy traffic, eastbound I94 and I see guy in my mirrors. I'm gonna say is a mid 80s Honda Nighthawk or Shadow or some shiat like that. And I notice he's riding kinda wreckless. Traffic is stop and go, up to 20mph, then quick braking and stopping. And this guy is darting and changing lanes, and I dunno, just acting goofy. Like he's on something nimble, but he's not.

Eventually he works his way alongside me. I'm in the middle lane. He's maybe late 30s, goofy looking. Shorts, t-shirt, half helmet. It crossed my mind at that point, that he might have been drunk.

1/4 mile later, I'm in the right lane, and getting off at 16 Mile. I hear a screech and look left... and there's the guy on the Honda, *sspacking a Mustang convertible. I swear it was just like the Lobby scene in the Matrix. I saw it in slow motion. No more than 50 feet from me. He was rotating probably 8 feet in the air, legs straight above him. the bike was rotating forward, almost at 6 o'clock.... glass was shattering everywhere. He was coming down in the Mustang, for sure.. but I had to turn back to see where I was going. By the time I looked back at the wreck, traffic blocked my view of it...

It was insane.

Moron.

I checked the news, there was nothing on it. And I went back past it two hours later and it was wide open. I'm guessing if it was a fatal, they would have had it shut down longer...

 

lesson to be learned dont drive wreckless in a 80's nighthawk/shadow or anything in the 80's.
