Brake lights

Ok... was wondering if anyone can help me.
I'm having a problem with my break lights, (2003 CBR 600RR) they're either not going on, or stuck on.... I think they're stuck on
I checked the wires and they are all in place, and even hooked up the old tail light to see if it was the aftermarket light i put on so i could wire the brake lights in it... but the old one still didn't work... so i dont' think its the light itself, it has to be something else.
It doesn't come on for either the front or rear break, and I checked all the fuses already... any other suggestions of wtf could be wrong with it?

siwtches maybe? how do i check them? HELP!!

Re: Break lights

Is the light on at all, when you aren't hitting the brake? Or is it totally off

Re: Break lights

It's the rear brake light light switch. it's connected to the rear brake pedal via a spring it's probably stuck out. Try to push it back in then make sure the spring isn't to tight. If that doesn't work bring it over to Sonicsbombs or ZxThunders and I'll fix for ya.

Re: Break lights

Sometimes the rear sets will loosen up and cause the break pedal to bind up and stick. Give that a qwick look.

Re: Break lights

Its hard to tell if its stuck on or not... the tail light works, but it looks kinda bright to me, so i'm guessing its stuck on.
