well if your machine was formated in ntfs then no 98 wont read it, but if was formated in fat32 then yes u can.

I had the crappiest day too! 
Woke up sicker than ****.. had to be to work an hour early, get to work and the girls are bouncing off the walls at 6:30 in the morning (for thos of you that don't know i'm a nanny and take care of 2 lil girls) the dog (an 70lb lab) digs a two foot hole and gets out under the fence.. have to catch him, then give him a bath cause he is caked in mud(ewe).. I cleaned up 2 broken glasses and one bowl of cereal off the floor, and dropped the cookies for the preschoolers easter party in the parking lot .. and this was all before 9am.. the day didn't get any better

the computer you put the HDD into must have the same FIle system or be compatible with the file system on the hdd if it was xp its most likely NTFS and win 98 is FAT32 so incompatible.. I am a bit of a computer builder/ troubleshooter. if you cant get it let me know drop me a PM ill see what i can do.

Well i actually had a decent day, we went to our Iraqi Police stations. I yelled at the Iraqi police for not doing their job, sweated my *** off. Almost passed out from the sun
pointed my m16 at a couple cars that wouldnt get out of the way and smacked two cars off the road. I ended my night with some volleyball. That was my day lol

rack another bad day for me! Do you realize that when you have a bad day, the absolute horrible things get it going, but the smallest things makes it even worse? (i.e. my purse dumping over, my heel broke, my favorite drink I get everyday was sold out,and ect)
