No Helmet Law
Re: No Helmet Law
[QUOTE=Brandy]1.) YES! type of bike matters and what you are doing on that bike.
2.) YES! opposed to the city full of idiots driving around or open road where you can just RIDE, i.e. basically all the ex: you gave for reasons to have a helmet on.
3.) YES! if you are just starting out, you dont have the exp. to watch out for other people on the road.
UHHH.. OK...
NOT TRUE
1)that bike is not going to be any more protection for you weather its suzuki, honda, kawi, or only 50cc's... nor is it going to hurt you anymore cause when u get in an accident... the chances of you staying on that motorcycle are ... well nonexistant- Its just you, and the pavement, and hopefully if your smart, a helmet.
2) I crashed in the sticks in the middle of NOWHERE at 3:00am.. and when I look at how faw*ed up my helmet was, I know why I wear one. But if you ride in BFE w/ out a helmet on, say u do go down- without a helmet your more likely to get a closed head injury- less likely for someone to see u wreck= better chance at not surviving it...
3)In some cases, this is true, however, how many of us know ppl (or are ppl) that wrecked because they got TOO CONFIDENT with their riding. Not to say newbies don't wreck, but you have to remember all the ppl that get so comfortable w/ riding, that they think they forget to pay attention to what their doing, and whos around them.
just my
