You people suck!!!

Yeah, it's that time of year again (cold). It starts getting depressing when you go to your local motorcycle forum on the web and still find guys talking about riding and going all over the place bacause it's still 70 degrees out. It makes it real hard to not go in there and yell "You people suck!".

I've never found anything in Ohio that really breaks up the cabin fever very much. One thing that helped a few years ago, a frined of mine had a birthday and we all met at hooters and celebrated.

He's a hard core wheelie rider, and all these other motorcycle riders were there, and for a while it didn't seem so freaking cold out, and summer didn't seem so far away.

I'm sure since you all live in Ohio, you all have your own little way of coping with all the off time we get.

So what's up? How do you use your time when the road is hidden by a few inches of snow?

<--- here's one to get you started.

A nice hummer would make me forget it was cold outside.. unless I was standing in a snow covered alley.

Yeah but it's not the same.

I start up all the bikes in the garage and take them around the block when I get a warm day. It's just not fun until I can get out there and go fast on one wheel and actually STAY out for a few hours and not have my ***** fall off.

What you thinking? If I'm getting a hummer, it can be freezing rain on my bare ***, and I'm still not complaining...

Yep, pretty much sums it up. My wife ride a 250 by the way. Another guy in our group started on one, now he has a 6.

I rode one years ago, I think they are a blast. They corner like mad, they can still get at least some wheelies, and on a curvey road you can give big bikes fits.

Yeah pretty much, although we have the jet stream on I-70 that sort of seperates our weather.

In the summer if it's rainy, pissy, crappy out, the wife will talk me into jumping into the cage and busting over to Indiana to get some food, (Applebee's), well, we'll get over there and the sun will be shinning and guys will be pimpin on their sport bikes, out having fun, and I'm thinking, "let me show you how to stunt that bike, biotch." Then, when we get back home, (in Ohio), yep, it's still pouring down rain. So then I'm thinking, "I had the perfect op in Indiana, I should have went into the local bike shop and test rode one of those 954's..."

Now today it's a big freakin 41 degree out... wupity do!!!!!

6 days into January and the cabin fever is killing me. I haven't really fixed up my bike much but I have looked into getting me a 47 cc pocket rocket. I emailed the supplier and asked about a group deal. I have already purchased a few, (we'll call them prototypes), if they are o.k. I'll offer them up for sale for around $600. Cool price huh? I'll keep you posted. They are so small that I can probably find some place to ride them INSIDE! ha ha ha.
