In case you haven't heard yet, Vilth otherwise known as John crashed in Rochester last night. From what I've heard it doesn't look good. But this hasn't been confirmed yet. We should know more by Monday. Please keep him in your prayers tonight.

Hey Guys,

I'm sorry to say that its been confirmed, John did crash and he did die. I just got off the phone with Joe and Keith from Rochester. Keith went over to John's mom's house to pay his respects. Joe works with John and he did not show up for work today.

Here is the story as I heard it. John was riding the Blue R6 he just bought from Odie, and his buddy was riding the Krohn's old ZX-6R. John was riding about 100 mph and his buddy was in front and changed lanes, John didn't have time to stop and ran into the back of the his buddy. His friend only had a scratch on his ankle. John broke all of his ribs on the curb or the sign and the broken ribs punctured his lung and his heart. He wasn't wearing a helmet but he didn't sustain any injuries on his head, only internal injuries. He died before he got to the hospital.

I'm so bummed that I don't think I'm going to the wake or funeral. But if any of you want to go, here is the info.

Wake:
5-8pm Tuesday Aug 2nd, Rancranz Funeral Home off of Hwy 52 and 55th St.

Funeral:
2pm Wednesday, Aug 3rd, Stone Hill Cemetery(not sure of location)

Man killed in motorcycle crash

From staff reports

A 22-year-old Rochester man died early Sunday after a motorcycle accident on West Circle Drive.

Police said John C. Lowery IV was driving northbound on West Circle Drive at 2:09 a.m., approaching the intersection with Third Street Northwest, when a motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Joseph Robert Praski of Rochester changed lanes in front of him.

Police said Lowery's motorcycle rear-ended Praski's, causing both vehicles to topple. Praski was up and walking around when officers arrived. Lowery was taken to Saint Marys Hospital, where he died.

Lowery was a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School. He was employed at Gauthier Industries.

His funeral will be Wednesday.

Capt. Brian Winters said neither rider was wearing a helmet. The accident remains under investigation.

R.I.P. There are so many things I want to say about this but we all hear the same things when this type of accident happens. Keep your helmets on, watch out for eachother. I know we all do stupid things sometimes but wtf? How many of our friends have to die b4 we realize there is a time and place to ride like we do. This kid was a very cool guy, he was nice to all and loved to ride. I hate to hear someone was going 100+ without a helmet on. We all wonder why there are so many stereotypes about motorcyclists. We need to step up our game and watch out for eachother. I have never had this many people I know die b4. I wil write more when I have time. You will be missed john. -krohn-

This is why we all need to slow stuff down. hit the lots and keep the speeds down. i am not trying to say lots are safe but you cant go 100 in a lot as easy. plus as long as you dont let the wrong people in you are alot safer. be careful people i dont wanna die anytime soon, and i dont want to be reading a thread about any other friends dieing. make your own decisions and do what you want but this should at least let you know it can happen to all of us.

Damn it do I hate reading about this kind of stuff. Makes it even worse when the person that you are reading about is a person you have met many times and started to get to know and become friends with. From the times I met and talked with John he seemed like a real cool kid.
It's great in a way, the more riders you meet, the more cool people you become friends with, the only down fall to this is, the more riders you meet, the more you make friends,= the more rider friends you know that die way to early.

John will be missed.
