I know how important I am to the group, it's ok I take no offense

 

Show was good but I had to stay on the sidelines. I was popping percs but that was before I knew I was immune to them, so the pain was pretty bad. I blew the ends out of two of my fingers and broke one of them. I'm sure it's nothing like a femur but I'm a wuss so it hurt.

 

You have 6 weeks to be ready for the next one. Better work on the vocals while you laying on the couch

 

Immune to perc's??? Is that possible? What do you mean you blew the ends out of your fingers? was bone exposed?


I'm focusing on thinking about clever things to say during the show.

Yeah, percs, morphine, vics, etc. They don't affect me. I crushed my fingers so bad that the ends of them blew out and the fat cells were hanging out the end. You couldn't see the bone though. I only have pics of them after they were stitched up.

I still have the gloves I was wearing but they got wet and most of the blood washed off. I pulled the glove off and blood was streaming down my arm and onto the ground. It never really hurt that bad until I was sitting in the ER. Must have been the adrenaline.

 

It's weird how that works. I had no idea I was even hurt till I couldn't get up. Then I had my boot taken out of my binding and my leg just fell like it was lifeless. I knew right then and there it was my femur. The pain held off up until I got pulled out of the woods by my friend.

 

Shock / adrenaline must have come into play during that whole scenario. I'm glad I wasn't there to witness it

 

Me too. I hate seeing people get hurt. My buddy crashed on wednesday and knocked himself out. I'm glad I missed that one too.

Yeah because I would immediately break into tears

It would have probably been more like "WTF dude! we have a show today! Why you gotta go and do something like this!" Then I would probably throw a snowball at you and walk away.
